**To delete a custom authorizer**

The following ``delete-authorizer`` example deletes the authorizer named ``CustomAuthorizer``. A custom authorizer must be in the ``INACTIVE`` state before you can delete it. ::

    aws iot delete-authorizer \
        --authorizer-name CustomAuthorizer

This command produces no output.
